Baruth, a small village near Bautzen.

East of Dresden, just 30 minutes drive from Poland, is a very idyllic house for rent. We stayed here for 3 nights. The house is Angelika and Rainer's second home. Angelika works with finances most of the time but wants to spend more time taking care of guests in the future. The surroundings are both impressive and very charming as well. The evenings here with a glass of wine with the hosts we will keep in our hearts.
The soul of the old house is still here, and yet you have all the comfort you need today. Angelika offered us breakfast at the time we wanted each morning. We really liked the German cheese served with fresh bread. Local produced tomatoes and lots of fruits and vegetables where so delicious and made us stay a long time by the table!
In the garden Silje found a new friend. It was two of them in the garden, and in the evening they came out to look for food.

Rainer and Angelika in the garden. If you would like to visit the area around Dresden, we highly recommend a stay in their house. You can choose to have breakfast served or prepare food yourself in the kitchen. The sleeping- rooms were so wonderful. We do not have a good photo of the bathroom, but the bath was a dream! ( Ina would like a bathroom like that!)

Thank you Angelika and Rainer for sharing your time and place with us this summer. The rest of our holiday in Germany we made an effort trying to prepare breakfast the way you did for us. The days with you in your lovely home have made a difference for us, we will try to take care of that!
