England, Liverpool 2003
After some years we decided to make an exchange in England again. We met some beautiful people last time we visited England and were very excited leaving Norway. We drove from Løkta to Trondheim and left our car there to be picked up by the family we had decided to exchange with. As always making an home exchange is almost living in a fairytale. We had 3 lovely weeks in a lovely house with nice helpful people around.
| When we arrived at Manchester Airport we were met by Peter and Jessica. It was the same car that we used the rest of our exchange. | |
| Walking in the docks of Liverpool in the evenings is nice. The area is clean and has a lot of exciting things to offer. | |
| In the centre of the town you find many old and nice buildings. | |
| One of the largest Chinatowns in Europe is in Liverpool. | |
| One of the best things in England is the people. We were invited to coffee, tea and dinner. Everybody was helpful and wanted us to see the best of the city and the nearest places. Here we are at morning coffee with Peter and Carol. | |
| A big surprise to us was all the beautiful places to walk. Parks with a lot of birds and big trees and almost no people. | |
| The house was beautiful, built around 1850 and was well taken care of. Many days we just stayed home reading and waching TV. | |
| Here is the family. Hilary,
Peter, Jessica, Sally and Duncan. Christopher wasn't home
when we met the family. We really hope to meet them all
once again one day. If you have a nice house to exchange you can send a mail to: |
