La Fresnais, France 2004
| The summer 2004 we made an exchange in La Fresnais, France. For the first time Ester, Einar, Eskil and Elise joined us. The house was big enough for us all. With a lovely pool everybody had a very nice holiday. Home at school the children had been without swimming for over a year. Since we live on an island learning to swim is important. In the coming year we will try to make exchanges with places were the kids can practice swimming. |  |

We had many plans where to go and what to do, but the house itself was so nice that we stayed "home" most of the time when the sun was shining. |
| After 2 weeks, Eskil learnt to swim. He was a very happy boy when he went back to Norway. He looked forward to show his friends his new skills. |  |

In the evenings we sometimes watched TV. The living- room was nice and comfortable. |
 The area had many nice beaches. Here is Elise on the beach of Saint Malo. Saint Malo was just 20 minutes drive away. With old and lovely buildings it was exciting to walk around and just watch. |

 We have a lot of good memories from the holiday. Visiting Mont Saint Michel is one of them. |

| Ina at Omaha Beach. It was strange to stand on this beautiful beach knowing that so many young boys lost their life here. |

Before we left France we had to visit Euro Disney in Paris. It was very hot this day. The show "The Lion King" made it worth standing more than one hour waiting to come in. |
Good friends looking forward to many more holidays together.
