Raageleje- Denmark 1994

Our first exchange brought us to Denmark, Raageleje in the northern part of Sjelland. We drove from Sandnessjoen to Oslo and took the ferry from Oslo to Kopenhagen. The house we lived in was the 2nd home of Verner & Birthe Bay. We had a beautiful weather and were out swimming many days. With only five minutes to walk to the beach we had a lovely time.
The temperature in the water was nice since the temperature in the air was from 28-33 C.
Since Denmark and Norway had the same history for over 400 years, we had to visit the big Castle in Hillerod. It was impressing and I hope to come back many times. I have been back once with some students from our school at Lokta.
Denmark is a nice country to travel in. You don't have to drive for such a long time to come to new places. In Kopenhagen we visited Tivoli and were lucky to be there the day Bjorn Afzelius had a consert.
