Sonderhausen, Germany 2006

For the first time we decided to make a homeexchange with the same family two years in a row. Since we had such a lovely time with Ester, Einar, Eskil and Elise in Franc in 2004 we wanted to travel with them again. We knew that the house in Sondershausen would be perfekt. So... |

temperature during the first weeks was over 30. So we
spent most of the time just relaxing outside by the pool. |

Last summer we visited a guesthouse in Bad Frankenhausen. The atmosphere and the food here was unforgettable and we decided to go back again this year. |  |
| We sat outside in a backyard and studied the menu. The man recognized us from last year!! Amazing! |  |
Both the meat and the fish were excellent. If you go by here you must try this place. All the children had a free icecream after the meal. |
| This is the castle in Sondershausen. Odd Arne and Einar went there by bikes.Lots of classical concerts here this summer, but we preferred the pool in the heat! |  |

This is a very nice place to swim, Bergbad in Sondershausen. Very cheap entrance. Only 2 euroes per adult and 1 per child. Eskil jumped out from the 3 meter for his first time. |
 We hired a car so we could visit most places in driving distance from Sondershausen. At the picture we are visiting Belantis amusement park near Leipzig. We had a lot of fun here! |
 The last days in Germany we stayed in Berlin. We visited many interesting places here. We could see parts of the wall, and follow where it had been through the city. At the picture you can see Odd Arne at Checkpoint Charlie. |
